With the rapid development of economy and society,the problem of water shortage becomes more and more prominent and becomes an important factor restricting social development.The secondary effluent from the municipal sewage plant is stable and the organic composition is relatively simple,mainly humic acid,protein and polysaccharide.Therefore,reusing the urban secondary effluent after treating is an important way to relieve the pressure of water shortage.Some scholars have shown that the content of P in secondary effluent is high,if discharged directly,it will cause eutrophication,The results of this study further confirm the urgency of deep treatment of urban secondary effluent.Combined with the above reasons,how to deal with the urban secondary effluent in depth to remove organic matter and P became the main research content of this topic.In this paper,the secondary effluent was treated by adsorption method.The adsorbents were:organic titanium adsorbents,anion exchange resins(4200CL,IRA 900CL),macroporous adsorbents(XAD4,XAD7HP,XAD16N)and traditional powder activated carbon.Secondary discharge water before and after adsorption penetrate ultrafiltration system,comparing the contamination of membrane.In the end,a high efficiency,economic and environmental protection adsorbent was selected to provide theoretical basis for the treatment of secondary effluent depth in the sewage plant.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1?Studying the adsorption effects of seven kinds of adsorbents,such as organic titanium adsorbents,resin(4200CL,IRA900CL,XAD4,XAD7HP,XAD16N),powder activated carbon on P,humic acid,protein and polysaccharide.From the experimental results,it can be concluded that under the better reaction conditions,the removal rates of organic titanium adsorbent,4200CL and IRA900CL on P are:91.4%,86.3%,and 84.2%respectively,and the removal rate of powder activated carbon is 45.4%.The removal rate of XAD4,XAD7HP,XAD16N is less than 30%.The removal rate of humic acid about organic titanium adsorbent was 77.9%.The removal rate of 4200CL and IRA900CL was only 25.2%and 37.5%.The removal rates of protein were 81.9%,48.8%and 27.3%respectively about organic titanium adsorbent?4200CL and IRA900CL.The removal rate of polysaccharides about powdered activated carbon is 18.3%,while the other 6 adsorbents have poor adsorption effect on polysaccharides,only about 10%.2?Investigating the regenerative properties of the organic titanium adsorbent,4200CL and IRA 900CL.The experimental results showed that after 10 regeneration of organic titanium adsorbent,4200CL and IRA900CL,the removal rates of P dropped from 98.3%,92.1%,89.6%to 92.3%,65.5%and 8.0%respectively;The removal rates of humic acid dropped from 83.8%,35.2%and 45.4%to 81.5%,8.2%and 39.7%respectively;The removal rates of proteins decreased from 85.6%,51.0%,29.6%to 33.9%,5.9%and 4.0%respectively;The removal rate of polysaccharides dropped from 11.1%9.0%?10.00%to 8.8%6.1%and 8.9%.3?The SEM,specific surface area and IR spectrum of three adsorbents were analyzed.The results showed that organic titanium adsorbents showed a flocculation structure,two anion resins were spheres,the specific surface area and total pore volume of organic titanium adsorbents were greater than two anion resins,and the chemical properties of organic titanium adsorbents were more stable.4?The adsorption properties of organic titanium adsorbents,4200CL and IRA900CL on secondary effluent from a sewage plant were investigated.The results show that the organic titanium adsorbents can remove P from secondary effluent by 90%and TOC by 80%.The removal effect on fluorescent substances,including fumaric acid,glycolytic protein and microbial metabolites,is obvious,the adsorption effect on macromolecular and small molecular organic matter is good.Compared with the organic titanium adsorbents,4200CL and IRA900CL not only exhibit the general adsorbability,but also have poor regeneration energy.5?The contamination of the ultrafiltration membrane before and after adsorption of the secondary effluent from a sewage treatment plant by three adsorbents was analyzed.The pressure of secondary effluent after 2 cycles reached 4.5 bar,the pressure of secondary effluent after adsorption of organic titanium adsorbents reached 0.9 bar after 10 cycles,the pressure of secondary effluent after adsorption of 4200CL reached 3.5 bar after 9 cycles,and the pressure of secondary effluent after adsorption of IRA 900CL reached 3.5 bar after 7 cycles.
