As the key part of the mine equipment brake,the performance of the friction plate will directly affect the safety and stability of the operation of the mechanical brake system.At present,the friction discs used in mining machinery braking have various shortcomings,such as low braking torque,low friction coefficient,high wear rate and high maintenance cost,which are difficult to meet the safe and stable operation of mining machinery and equipment.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a resin-based friction disc suitable for mining machinery brakes,which has high wear resistance and high friction.It is of great significance for ensuring the safe and efficient production of mines,reducing accidents and improving economic and social benefits.In this paper,the resin based friction plates with different fiber reinforced are prepared by hot pressing sintering and heat treatment.Research on fiber friction plate under different braking conditions(brake load,speed,dry-sliding,water medium etc.)influence the tribological properties and friction mechanism,and study the effect of performance parameter of friction plate the resin base friction temperature field.The tribological properties of different content of glass fiber reinforced resin-based friction plates under dry-sliding are investigated.the volume fraction of glass fiber slightly improve resin-based friction plate hardness below 7% in the range,with the increase of glass fiber content,the friction coefficient and the specific wear rate of resin based friction plate increased firstly and then decreased.The wear mechanism of friction plate with low content of glass fiber is mainly abrasive and adhesive wear.The wear mechanism of friction plate with high content of glass fiber is mainly abrasive wear.Under the condition of dry-sliding,the two kinds of resin-based friction plate with glass fiber/carbon fiber and aramid pulp fiber/glass fiber/carbon fiber friction plate was studied,with the increase of the brake pressure,the friction coefficient of two kinds of friction plate was first increased and then decreased and the wear rate increased.But with the increase of braking speed,the friction coefficient and wear rate of the former friction plate first increase and then decrease,while the friction coefficient and wear rate of the latter increase gradually.The wear mechanism of the former friction plate is mainly adhesive wear,while the latter is mainly abrasive wear.In a certain amount of hybrid fiber resin based friction plate,friction plate adding glass fiber/carbon fiber volume fraction were 9%,8% and add the friction of carbon fiber/aramid pulp fiber/glass fiber volume fraction were 10%,3%,4% showed the best tribological performance.Under water lubrication,the addition of glass fiber/carbon fiber and aramid pulp fiber/glass fiber/carbon fiber two resin based friction plate is studied,with the increase of the brake load,the friction coefficient of the friction plate decreases first and then increases and the wear rate increases,the friction coefficient of the friction plate and the wear rate increases;with brake speed,friction coefficient of the friction plate is gradually decreased and the wear rate increased gradually,the friction coefficient of friction plate decreases and the wear increased first and then decreased.The wear mechanism of the two resin-based friction plates is mainly abrasive wear.In a certain amount of hybrid fiber resin-based friction plate,friction plate with glass fiber/carbon fiber volume fraction were 9%,8% and add the friction of carbon fiber/aramid pulp fiber/glass fiber volume fraction were 4%,7%,6% showed the best tribological performance.The effect of friction material performance parameters on the temperature field of resin based friction disc is studied.The maximum temperature of the contact surface increases with the prolongation of braking time.The high temperature area of the friction disc and brake disc is mainly concentrated in the middle of the contact surface,and the radial temperature decreases from the middle part of the contact area to both sides.Decreasing the thermal expansion coefficient,increasing the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity of the friction material can reduce the temperature of the contact surface,and further improve the braking performance of the friction disc.
