Global climate change affects not only the environment but also social and economic activities. The greenhouse effect caused by greenhouse gases can cause surface temperature rising.Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide?CO2?,methane?CH4?,nitrous oxide?known as laughing gas,N2O?,and water vapor.N2O warming potential is 310 times of CO2,and it is prone to react with O3 in the ozone layer, leading to the destruction of the ozone layer.Earthworms are widely distributed, the activities of earthworms can improve soil properties and affect greenhouse gas emissions in the soil. This experiment discusses the effect of different kinds of soils on the release rate of N2O,but in order to study the factors affecting the release rate of N2O from soil, the weight of earthworms and the content of heavy metals are also recorded.Three different types of soil were used in the experiment, they are located in:Tuerqi farm,Tumen village in Longquanyi district, the surrounding of Chongzhou nitrogen fertilizer plant. The three soils are regarded as the original living soil of earthworms, typical soil in Chengdu area, and nitrogen deposition on typical soil in Chengdu area.Experiments were conducted in a micro-ecosystem.Different types of soils and earthworms were used as a control factor in the experiment, the difference of the weight of earthworms and content of heavy metal will also be considered.1.The release rate of N2O from the soils that inoculated with earthworms will be 2 to4 times than before.N2O release rate rank is:Tuerqi Farm Soil,Tumen Village Soil in Longquanyi District, and soil around Chongzhou Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant.2.Changes in weight of earthworms will affect the release rate of N2O,the consistency of the two data and after the the highest point the consistency is more obvious. It is suggested that copper and zinc promote the release of N2O;cadmium,lead and nickel have inhibitory effects on the release of N2O,and the influence of copper and zinc is stronger than that of cadmium, lead and nickel on the release rate of N2O.3.The copper and zinc elements are beneficial to the growth of earthworms;cadmium, lead, and nickel have little effect on the growth of earthworms. The results of this experiment was that the inoculation of earthworms in different soil types in the Chengdu area reached N2O emission reduction effect at the beginning. For N2O emission reduction in Chengdu area, there are other methods like the application of biochar and reduction in the use of nitrogen fertilizers. However, its effectiveness also requires experiments to verify.
