As one of the efficient welding methods,Hybrid Arc Welding is widely used in welding industry in recent years due to its varies of outstanding advantages.For example,the equipment relatively easily be manufactured,the theory of high efficiency is relatively simple,the effect of high efficiency is ideal.At the same time,the different methods of Hybrid Arc Welding have come out in an endless stream,some have been successfully applied to production,and some research in the laboratory has made great progress.Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding is a promising hybrid arc welding after twin wire MIG,TIG-MIG and laser-MIG.Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding combines the advantages of plasma arc welding and MIG,achieving the purpose of complementary advantages of the two welding methods.In addition,the Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding has higher welding efficiency than the TIG-MIG Welding,and can achieve the purpose of single side welding and double-sided forming of medium and large plates.Compared with Laser-MIG Hybrid Welding,Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding has higher efficient,and the cost of Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding equipment is much lower than that of Laser-MIG Hybrid Welding.The equipment is easier to obtain,and its popularization value in actual welding production is much better than that of Laser-MIG Hybrid Welding.At present,the guns of Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding include side shaft,coaxial and offset type.Combined with their advantages and disadvantages,this paper chooses side shaft hybrid arc welding gun.The power of Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding is mainly DC power.In other words,the plasma welding power and MIG power are all DC power,because of their characteristics of electric arc,the power of plasma arc welding selects positive connection and the power of MIG selects reverse connection when welding.Just like the twin wire MIG and TIG-MIG,the two electric arcs of the Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding were interconnected,for the reason of the electromagnetic force,when the two welding methods used for composite are DC welding.The interference force between the two arcs is relatively large,which affects the two composite electric arcs,coupling effect.In order to solve this problem,this paper propose integrated pulse Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding,the purposes is to change DC Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding to pulsed Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding,which makes the two electric arcs pulsed arcs,and through the phase control of the two arcs to reduce the interaction of the two coupled arcs,improve the coupling effect and the hybrid arc welding quality.In this paper,with PLC as the control core of DC type Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding equipment,it is used to weld 16 Mn steel plate.At the same time,the development of a kind of integrated pulsed Plasma-MIG Hybrid Arc Welding equipment on the basis of above research,includes hardware parts and software parts.The hardware circuit mainly includes the main circuit and the control circuit.The software is mainly to match the hardware circuit to realize the welding process.the program of the DSP chip is written in C language.
