This paper took Quanshan campus of Jiangsu Normal University as research object.Sampling sites of atmospheric particulates of all sizes(TSP,PM10,PM2.5 and PM1.0)within campus were located in teaching area?Tianjiabing School of Technology?,laboratory area?School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering?as well as dormitory area?the observatory?.Data were collected from July 2016 to June2017,from 7:00 a.m.to 19:00 p.m.,once every hour, spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of atmospheric particulates of all sizes were analyzed, correlations among atmospheric particulates of all sizes were studied,as well as correlations between atmospheric particulates of all sizes and meteorological factors?wind speed, relative air humidity, air temperature, air pressure, illumination intensity,etc.?.In addition, effects of altitude, traffic, water area, and plants on atmospheric particulates in campus microenvironment were studied. The main results were as follows:?1?The concentration of particulate matter in the campus was the highest in winter and the lowest in summer,in which the highest and lowest concentrations occurred in February and August, respectively. The diurnal variation of atmospheric particulate concentration shows a"V"shape. The concentration of atmospheric particulates in each grain level shows a continuous downward trend from7:00 to 15:00.The maximum and minimum concentrations of atmospheric particulates appear at7:00 and 15:00,respectively,and the concentrations of 15:00-19:00 show an upward trend.Concentration of atmospheric particulates of all sizes at the observatory was much lower than Tianjiabing School of Technology and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.PM10 levels at all sampling sites exceeded the secondary standard of ambient air quality annual average concentration?100?g/m3?.?2?TSP and PM10 were negatively correlated with wind speed and temperature?p<0.05?,PM2.5 and PM1.0 were negatively correlated with wind speed?p<0.01?,PM2.5 and PM1.0.0 were positively correlated with relative humidity?p<0.01?.TSP,PM10,PM2.5,and PM1.0 were negatively correlated with illumination intensity?p<0.05?,TSP,PM10,PM2.5,and PM1.0 were not correlated with air pressure?p<0.05?.?3?On clean days,PM1.0 and PM2.5 concentration didn't change significantly in cases of closing windows on both sides, opening windows on one side, and opening windows on both sides from 1 to 21 floors.PM10 and TSP concentration decreased with certain volatility as the floor increased. On polluted days,PM1.0 concentration didn't change significantly in cases of closing windows on both sides, opening windows on one side, and opening windows on both sides from 1 to 21 floors.PM10and TSP concentration decreased significantly as the floor increased.?4?The average concentration of atmospheric particulates of all sizes within three main functional areas:dormitory<teaching building<the third canteen. At 10:00a.m.,off-campus road is the main source of atmospheric particulates. At 12:00 noon,on-campus and off-campus roads are major sources of atmospheric particulates.Concentration of atmospheric particulates of all sizes in the west bank of Yuquan River was higher than that in the east bank, the riverbank higher than the riverside, the north side higher than the south side.Concentration of atmospheric particulates of all sizes decreased as it got further from forest edge, and eventually reached a relatively stable value; The fragmentation degree of vegetation affected the concentration of atmospheric particulates to a certain extent; In spring and autumn, concentration of atmospheric particulates of all sizes was basically stable at 85m,and in summer at 80m.
