In recent years, steel construction in our country developed rapidly. The scopeof application is also expanding. There is a huge space for development in the fieldof building structure around the whole world. And the lightweight steel constructionhas relatively fast speed for constructing. Besides, it also has beautiful appearance,lower cost, and can save more material. So the lightweight steel construction isapplied more and more widely.Cold-formed thin-walled steel member is the main member of lightweight steelconstruction. Steel beams are commonly used. The amount related to the cost of theentire project. This dissertation proposes a new section forms based on LSB beamof Australia. ZLSB is welded by high frequency resistance welding after rollforming of high strength steel plate. In this dissertation, the buckling behavior andbearing capacity of ZLSB under three different kinds of loads are analyzed by thefinite element software ANSYS respectively. What are listed as follows are themain contents of this dissertation:(1) Establish the finite element analysis model of Z-type hollow flange beam,and calculate its elastic buckling bending capacity and ultimate flexural bendingcapacity under three types of load, with the span ranging from2m to8m.Considering the connection of ZLSB beam with the angle steel when it is used asperlins, we use angle steel with different height to influence the bending capacity ofZLSB beam, and analysis the entrie process by the load-displacement curve of thekey members.(2) Change the geometric and structural parameters of hollow flange beamZLSB. Such as the thickness of the web, the height of the connecting angle and thesetting of the brace. Find how the parameters influence the ultimate flexuralbending capacity and the buckling modes.(3) Regression the equation of the flexural bending capacity when ZLSB beamis under three kings of load.(4) Find the influence to the capacity of hollow flange beam ZLSB with webopenings.
