With the field of power's power level becoming higher and functional diversification direction, the types of electronic load also can be applied toward the direction of diversification. Energy consumption electronic load is the most widely used but limited by power level, energy fed electronic load also has a great development, but does not apply to a wide supply voltage range and high dynamic needs of the occasion. The proposed new framework will be combining energy-consumption with energy-fed to improve energy-fed electronic load's input voltage range and dynamic characteristics, improving load efficiency.First of all, constant current load implementation scheme choose the IGBT type constant current load. In this paper, the driving circuit of high power IGBT is designed. Here also design the small signal modeling of the drive circuit. The establishment of the model provides basic theory of compensation parameter selection for the different models of IGBT. In this section, simulation and experimental results verify the rationality and feasibility of the design.Second, this article selects Flyback-Forward converter with active-clamp as the load simulation unit. This converter can process more power, the input current ripple is small, and load simulation is more accuracy. This section has designed the main parameters and closed loop compensation of the Flyback-Forward converter with active-clamp, then doing some simulation and experimental verification, the results prove the rationality and feasibility of the design. Energy fed unit uses battery as energy buffer unit, then feedback the energy to power grid by inverter, the way of the energy flow can be realized off-grid, simple and convenient.Finally, the paper designs the coordination circuit; it can improve the dynamic characteristics of the energy fed unit. Meanwhile, in order to improve the dynamic performance of the IGBT power consumption constant load, this article proposed several optimization programs: adopting multi-channel IGBT in parallel, the load device IGBT emitter series inductive components, and adding speeding up coordination of MOSFET constant current branch. According the designed circuit, the waveform results show the feasibility of the design of the arbitration circuit.
