A New Type Of Mechanical Connection Joint Of Pre-Stressed Concrete Pipe Pile

The joint of pre-stressed concrete pipe pile plays a decisive role in the overall;its quality is closely related to the construction quality of the foundation and the horizontal bearing capacity.Mechanical connectors are the development trend of the current pile connection technology,and get more and more attention of experts and scholars.In this paper,in order to determine the type of I-shaped joint of pre-stressed concrete pipe pile as the research object,analysis the I-shaped joint is reasonable and practical.First,the paper reviews the pile joint engineering and research,and found that the development trend of pile connection technology is mechanical connectors and mechanical and welded joints integrated,so further exploration and innovation of mechanical joints is necessary..Secondly,based on the existing mechanical joint form and research results,we propose a new I-shaped embedded connector.To study the mechanical properties of I-shaped joints,conducting the shear tests and bending tests of six novel linker piles,getting this kind of joint deformationand failure characteristics under load,the ultimate shear and flexural capacity of the joint position.From the experimental results we find that the shear and bending moment limits are significantly exceed the current limit specification limits,provide an experimental basis for the feasibility of engineering practice.Finally,using the finite element software ABAQUS,establish the three-dimensional finite element model of the interaction between pile and soil,simulate and analyze the working characteristics of engineering piles under horizontal load conditions,focuses on the analysis of mechanical behavior of the new joints,and provides a theoretical basis for practice application of engineering and puts forward the reasonable suggestions to improve the new type joint.
