As the high-speed rail has increasingly become an important means of transportation in people's daily life, its safety and comfort has been paid more and more attention, so as to ensure the timely repair and maintenance of the track is very important. As an important tool of rail car repair and maintenance of the track, a broad market has emerged. In order to develop a competitive rail car, the government and enterprises have invested heavily in research and development of high speed and high load and energy and the safety and comfort of the rail car,The dynamic characteristics of gear transmission system of rail vehicleaxle is an important aspect of performance of the realization of the rail car.Dynamic characteristics of gear transmission system of railway vehicleaxles, to the prediction and optimization of the gear transmission system's dynamic response and parameter influence, has become a hotfield of the rail vehicle industry. The paper uses a 514kW axle gear transmission system as the research object. Aanalyzed its dynamic response and parameter influence, then simulated its dynamic and obtained the dynamic meshing force time history, as well as studied the optimized of meshing force. This paper mainly completed the following research work:Construction of the system of 16 degrees of freedom, bending torsion shaft analysis pendulum model coupling dynamics, according to the axle gear box gear, helical gear two gear transmission system, based on derivating of the meshing force of gear, the time-varying stiffness and error excitations such expressions, established its nonlinear dynamic differential equations, differential equations were simplified with The dimensionless technology. The nonlinear problem was transformed into a weak nonlinear problems, using the Runge Kutta numerical method to solve the problem for the dynamic response of the system, and studied the influence of backlash on the dynamic characteristics of the system, determine a reasonable range of gear side clearance, to provide reference for reasonable selection of gear side clearance.Axle gear transmission system to carry on the entity modeling and dynamics simulation, obtained the time history curves of gear meshing force, to verify the dynamic gear meshing force to fixed value as the center of the law of cyclical fluctuations, and the maximum value was times of the average value.On this basis, by changing the damping coefficient of the gear meshing to optimize the meshing force was studied. The optimization results show that:the damping coefficient to reduce the gear meshing force fluctuation has obvious effect, so we can improve the damping coefficient by using damping sleeve to reduce the meshing force.Using ABAQUS software to carry out the modal analysis and gear contact stress analysis of the axle and the gear transmission system, obtained the gear modal frequencies, modal figure and the stress nephogram. The analysis results show that:the natural frequency and the meshing frequency are far different, so there is no danger of resonance. At the same time, the dynamic stress is less than the force of gear, gear strength reliable.
