Bamboo garden becomes people’s material and spiritual enjoyment place with its unique landscape forms and different function characteristics.The theoretical research on bamboo garden is still not perfect, the form is not rich enough, design is not standardized and the insufficiency problem.This article mainly uses the modern landscape planning and design method and theory of landscape ecology, combined with consumption economics, esthetics, bamboo taxonomy and culturology of multiple.And use literature method, interdisciplinary method, referring to the research method and field research method to study the bamboo garden scientifically and systematically.This article clear the definition of bamboo garden,and divides bamboo garden into five category, include bamboo park, bamboo curtilage in botanical garden, bamboo forest park,bamboo expo park and historic garden. This article takes The Black Bamboo Park in Beijing as an comprehensive and detailed example,and summarizes the method of landscape planning and design of bamboo garden, it is a study of city culture from the macro research, determine the special class garden bamboo theme and function and the overall designprinciples. And it analyzes the internal and external from the middle ground, puts forward the planning objectives and overall layout. Finally, in micro design, makes the above two aspects implementation and embodiment.
