Panxi area is one of the typical regions where landslides occurrence frequently. It is closely relation with the Xigeda soil widely distributing in this area. In civil engineering we often take rock bolting technology to limit the Xigeda soil slope instability. Bolt suppouting has the advantage of saving cost, time and labor, good reinforcement effect etc. With the development of Panxi area urbanization construction unceasingly thorough, bolt supporting technology will be more widely applied to the Xigeda soil slope reinforcement.In this paper, the author take the analysis and study on the engineering and geological characteristics of Xigeda soil in Panxi area. Summarize the characteristics and mechanism of Xigeda soil slope landslide. And the relationship between the characteristics of Xigeda soil and the slope stability. The author takes the Xigeda strata as the research object to analysis the anchoring mechanism of slope in Xigeda soil and the impact of anchoring effect. Using common method named R.Mindlin to calculate and analysis the force of the anchor in Xigeda soil slope. Calculate the stress characteristics of the anchor bolt and the distribution of axial stress and shear stress. Combining with the mechanical properties of Xigeda soil, using the Philips method and the bond stress distribution method deduced two calculation formula about anchoring force of the Xigeda soil slope. Using finite element analysis software named Midas GTS to analysis the stability before and after the supporting on some actual engineering slope in Panzhihua city. Comparison on the difference between slope stability coefficient before and after supporting. Take the slope stability safety coefficient as the index test results, select three factors:anchor length, ancho angle and ancho distance. Reference the method of orthogonal test design in statistics to optimized design the anchorage parameters in Xigeda soil slope. Based on analysis about the results of the optimization show that, in the premise of guaranteeing the engineering quality and safety, the optimal combination of parameters of bolts as follows: the anchorage length 10 meters, the anchor angle at 15 degrees, the anchor spacing at 2 meters. The significant sequence of influence of anchorage parameters on the anchoring effect is: the length of anchor> bolt nclination> anchor spacing.
