Ground source heat pump system can use a relatively small amount of high-grade energy(such as coal, oil, electricity, etc.) to achieve low grade energy(shallow underground energy) into high grade. Compared to the conventional air-conditioning system, it increases the efficiency of energy use and saves part of high-grade energy, so people pay more and more attention to it. At present, in this form of vigorously promoting energy-saving emission reduction and sustainable development in China, ground source heat pump system has fully demonstrated its many advantages, such as energy saving, environmental protection and utilization of renewable resources, so it has great potential for development in the future. In the initial investment, compared to other air conditioning system, the cost of ground source heat pump system can be high, but the comprehensive cost is comparatively low. Because the total investment includes the initial investment cost and operation and maintenance cost, it is more energy saving. But in the project, its performance is related to many factors, such as geological conditions, equip ment, and the later operation control strategy etc. So the research of ground source heat pump system application status, can contribute to the overall understanding of the energy saving system.From the viewpoint of energy conservation, this paper mainly do the following several aspects of research.The first, on the basis of the related references, the author introduced the ground source heat pump system efficiency evaluation of the main theory content. Finally, she summarized that the performance coefficient of the COP of the unit, the equipment efficiency, air conditioning water system efficiency ratio, the efficiency ratio of the heat pump system can decide the whole efficiency.The second, this paper is mainly based on a project of Changsha. Through measuring the indoor and outdoor thermal environment, the supply and return water temperature of the source side and the user side, the unit power consumption data s to the computer group and the system coefficient of performance, We can get the energy efficiency ratio of the system and the efficiency of the pump, and then analysis whether the ground source heat pump system can achieve the energy saving requirements in the project in typical seasons or not.Results show that the use of the area source heat pump system in project is reasonable, and it achieves the effect of energy saving.The third, as in the condition of running for a long time continuously, underground heat can not make up the balance issues, then resulting the environment of the soil, leading to a decline in performance of the units and increase in energy consumption. So this paper is based on a specific time in summer, through measuring the relevant datas, to analysis the free cooling characteristics and the influence on the system energy saving.The test results show that, using the GSHP system in this project is reasonable, and meeting the energy saving effect. In addition, the implementation of free cooling, can effectively reduce the power consumption, at the same time in the foundation of improving the indoor comfort, it can reduce the energy consumption of heating in winter.
