Fastener is one of the most widely used mechanical couplings presently, which is mainly used for connecting two or more parts and components integrated. It has thirteen types and threaded fastener is the most widely used machine parts among them with its huge connection force, compact structure, convenient assembly and disassembly, reliable connection etc. But threaded fastener exist loose problem in the process of connecting, which often leads to the connection failure and even serious safety accidents. In order to improve the quality of the products and usage safety,this article aims at the threaded fasteners looseness problem, which using effective methods to prevent looseness and test the anti-loosening performance of fasteners. Practice shows that fastener looseness is mainly caused by the transverse vibration load during the connection process, according to this principle to design the fasteners transverse vibration test bench. The bench can be used to test the anti-loosening of the fasteners and be used to detect the quality of the fasteners, also provide theoretical basis for the design and selection of fasteners. So it has very important theoretical and practical significance for the research and design.Firstly, this paper is based on the understanding of the triangular threaded fasteners, mechanical model has been analysed and its' self-locking and looseness has studies during the working process. Also, the fasteners transverse vibration test bench has been designed according the principle of the looseness. Secondly, according to the GB/T10431-2008 and DIN5151 standard, the structure design of the vibration amplitude adjustment device, motion transformation system, the vibration table and measuring element selection have been completed in this paper, with the structure of the test bench been simplifying, the mathematical model establishing, the motor power calculating by using calculus method. Thirdly, the ANSYS software is used to carry out the transient dynamic analysis of the spindle, the topology optimization of the connecting rod and strength check, the stress of T shaped clamp analysis, in order to ensure its strength and stiffness. And using Solidworks software for modeling the fasteners transverse vibration test bench, virtual assembly and interference inspection for further optimization and improvement on the irrational part. At last, the fasteners the transverse vibration test bench have been installed and debugged, the using criteria has been developed, the bench test is done about the fasteners self-locking performance by the experiment data to test the performance of fasteners the transverse vibration test bench, which aiming at the problem existed during the assembly process and testing process to do some improvement and optimization design.The research work of this paper played a positive role in promoting the development of transverse vibration test bench for fasteners, provided the theory basis to improve the design for the future, and also had conducive to the development of fasteners.
