Currently, our country is moving a big step forward from big manufacturing country to powerful manufacturing country. However, it greatly lack of electromechanical complex high-end talents. Mechanical and electric transmission control is one of essential courses for cultivating electromechanical talents. Theory is inseparable from practice. Course experiment is crucial practice in process of personnel training.Based on the project of school teaching reform, oriented to innovative experiment teaching ideas, with premise of safe experimental operation and goal of rich experimental feature and aim of comprehensively improving quality of experiment teaching, an innovative experimental teaching method and an experimental system are developed.First of all, after analyzed Mechanical & Electric Transmission Control course, experimental items covering its all knowledge points were determined. Researched on experimental teaching methods, an innovative experimental teaching program, completely independent design by the students, was proposed.Secondly, experimental system overall design was accomplished, it includes overall design of mechanical structure, electrical control and innovative teaching. During overall design of mechanical structure, design programs of motor performance test, motion control and headstock were carried out. During overall design of electrical control, PC-PLC control mode was determined, so does measurement mode of some physical parameters and sensor type. During overall design of innovative teaching method, experiment software system for students and experiment result review software system for teachers were finished.Again, in mechanical structural design, key components were calculated for design and checked for selection. Basic components were designed in detail. In electrical control design, data acquisition, motion control and communication function were designed. In innovative teaching method function design, OpenGl technique was used to achieve experiment result visualization. Database technique was used to store various types of experimental data. Design and programing of student experiment module and teacher review module were based on VC++ platform.Finally, operation process of innovative teaching method was introduced, including student operation part and teacher operation part.
