Research On Exhibition Planning And Design Of Planetarium In Tianmen,hubei Province

With the advances of science and technology in China, the public demand for popular science is growing. The more excellent the science and technology museum is, the more popular for the public. It is the basis and presupposition to build a science and technology museum successful to proceed scientific and systematic exhibition planning design. In this paper, the main research is as follows:Firstly, the process of exhibition planning design is researched systematically. The exhibition planning design is divided into three phases which is content plan, exhibition design and display form.Thirdly, the basic rule and design principles of exhibition planning design of planetarium is summarized by analyzing and concluding design cases of the famous planetarium in the world: Content plan should reflect scientificity, systematicness and contemporaneity. Exhibition design request artistry and safety. Display form should emphasize interaction of exhibition and users, and utilize advanced technology to make exhibition novelty and interest.At last, the theory research was perfected by combining with the exhibition planning design of planetarium in Tianmen,Hubei Province. Under the guidance of the basic principles of planetarium exhibition planning design, knowledge is organized and architecture, and we take a detailed social research for target users. From astronomy subject knowledge and needs of target users, the paper presents emphasis of planetarium exhibition planning design. In the context of the story line for content plan, preliminary design was performed around the design theme.
