Research Of Overvoltage Simulation Platform Of AC Power System

Insulation coordination design of power system is the key problem of power system reliability and economy. However, Insulation coordination design process is very complicated, and requiring the designer have relatively high professional quality and experience, design efficiency is relatively low. Introduce the means of computer aided design into the design of insulation coordination, to develop a simulation software which used for system overvoltage calculating and insulation coordination design, will be a very valuable topic. This thesis researches mainly around the principle of overvoltage in the power system, the establishment of the simulation models and the application of insulation coordination analysis module in the power system.Based on the open function of ATP, carry on the secondary development in this paper. Through on the interpretation of the ATP data card, the equipment components library is set up. Then the overvoltage simulation and insulation coordination analysis software is established.Based on the theoretical analysis of overvoltage generation mechanism and propagation process, analysis the model characteristics of equipment under different conditions, work out the model establishment and parameter configuration method under different overvoltage conditions. Then design the process and the interface of insulation coordination in detail. Using guided modeling design concept to support function of automatic generation of substation model and overvoltage conditions. Use the conventional method as the mainstream of the software to design insulation coordination method. To obtain the overvoltage, the configuration scheme and the protection level of surge arrester should be compared each other. This article combines with the design of insulation coordination standard, then the substation electrical equipment insulation level is given.Finally, test the function of the software based on the actual 500 kv substation. In the software, set up a 500 kv substation and calculate the overvoltage level of the equipment under different types of overvoltage. Combining with the relevant standards and arrester protection level, the insulation coordination level of substation main equipment is given.
