Helicopter deck platform is a key component element of naval ship structures. The function of helicopter deck platform is used for helicopters taking off, landing and parking on it. Then, the landing force from the wheelset of helicopter is crucial to the patch loading distribution between the plate and the aggregate as well as strength, stability and ultimate bearing mechanical properties of deck. Therefore, it is very necessary to investigate practical test methods and numerical approach to analyze the characterizes of patch loading distribution.Firstly, an experimental method for studying the patch loading distribution of stiffened plated was proposed. An diaphragm pressure sensor was used to measure the contact pressure between the patch rubber and deck, while an static strain measuring instrument was used to measure the strain response of deck. Then, Patch loading distribution characteristics of stiffened plates were obtained by analyzing the results of contact pressure and strain gauges from several typical positions, sizes and thickness of rubber.Secondly, simulation computation analysis has carried out on all load cases of the experiment with the nonlinear computation method of finite element software ANSYS. Results of contact pressure and the static strain of different measuring points in experiment and the finite element were contrasted, and good agreement was obtained between the experimental results and the finite element results. The parameter effects of patch loading distribution were analyzed of rubber thickness, hardness, relative stiffness ratio of plate and stiffener, the size of patch.Thirdly, patch loading distribution characteristics were further studied on the corrugated sandwich plate by establishing the numerical model. The influence of parameters to patch loading distribution were analyzed by the thickness of front face, bottom face and core layer, core height and location of patch, and the characteristics of patch loading distribution of the corrugated sandwich structure was obtained,Finally, the ultimate bearing capacity calculation models and methods of the corrugated sandwich beam were presented under pure bending load. The failure mode and ultimate load carrying capacity of corrugated sandwich beam were obtained under pure bending load, as well as comparative analysis with experiment results. Influences of front face, bottom face and core layer of corrugated sandwich beam were analyzed in this paper to ultimate load carrying capacity in pure bending load.The research work presented in this paper provides a good foundation for patch loading distribution and calculating the ultimate load carrying capacity of stiffened plate and corrugated sandwich.
