In solving energy and environmental issues, solar energy has the advantages of the most unique. Currently,it has become a hot topic of research and application. Today, the global energy crisis and air pollution problems have become increasingly prominent, solar energy,as a renewable energy, has been highly valued in many countries. Solar energy isrelatively abundant and widely distributed in China, therefore, to explore the use of solar energy resources, with far-reaching strategic significance for us.Fiber optic lighting system making use of the solar energy directly, not its photoelectric conversion or other direct natural light into the interior region of the need for lighting, energy saving, in line with the modern trend of environmental protection and energy savings. The equipment is easy to install and maintain, safe and reliable, nopollution, which has obvious effects on economic and environment.The first chapter introduces the present research situation?development trend at home and abroad,characteristics and application fields of different systems. The second chapter lists several different designs, and these programs are analyzed and compared to determine the subject design ideas,then making a brief introduction for structural components. The third chapter is the key content of this paper, highlighting the hardware design of the tracking system?each module design ideas and capabilities to achieve. The forth Chapterintroduces tracking system software functional module division and program presentation. The fifth chapter of this project for the design results of the experimental testing of the equipment. Finally, making a brief summaryin view of the test results.Currently, we have basically realized these parts function of collecting sunlight, automatically tracking and optical transport. Of course, the system also exist deficiencies, from the lighting effect, the tracking accuracy still need to be improved and enhanced.
