The Study Of Space Repair Of The Traditional Village Under The Perspective Of Family Society

The origination and development of Chinese traditional villages have a strong link with family society. Family kinship constitutes the basic social relations of traditional villages, and family structure influences the space of traditional villages. So,this thesis conducts a overall research of the coupling relationship between the family society and the village space,from three aspects of the family external form and the village spatial structure,the family internal structure and the village spatial hierarchy,the family cultural beliefs and the village spatial features.So as to completing and deepening the cognition of traditional villages.At this stage, the methods of protecting traditional villages are still imperfect.The separation of space repair and social development logic is one of the dominating reasons that lead to traditional villages in poor conditions.This paper systematically studied the coupling relationship between the family society and the traditional villages. Taking Zoumatang village in Ningbo as an example, it analyzed the development process, pattern,characteristics and remains of the historical space of Zoumatang in details, on the basis of which, it discovered the prototype of residential courtyard during the song dynasty, ming dynasty, qing dynasty, the period of the republic of China and the modern period and its evolution law. According to the protection situation and the historical value of courtyards,this paper divided the space repair of historical courtyards into four types, such as conservation, maintenance, darning and refactoring. The method proposed in this paper is based on the evolution logic of historical space and it emphasizes not only the respect and preservation of history, but also the adaption to modern life, so as to giving the vitality of development to traditional villages and protecting the historical value at the same time.With the widely applicability, this method will provide new experiences and views to the study of protecting traditional villages.
