| With the gradual reduction of the port,coastal and offshore engineering at home, to expand the design abroad is the inevitable trend of development. As the limitation of development of science and technology level for some developing countries, the related natural conditions needed in the design is in a short supply. In order to ensure the engineering safety and economy, such problems must be solved.Combined with a coastal engineering design in the Papua New Guinea which I participated, this paper studies how to calculate the design wave factors on condition that the data measured is in a short supply, in order to lay the foundation for engineering design and construction.In this paper, take advantage of the hindcasting wave data and calculate the design wave factors in the engineering areas in the deep-sea by using the P-111 curve analysis. SWAN wave model is used to calculate the wave fields in the wider water area and mild-slope equation is used to calculate the design wave factors in the engineering areas, in order to provide the technical support on the engineering plane layout and structural design. |
