| The Korean nation is one of the most representational minorities in China which mainly locates in the three Northeast provinces. The design target is sitting in Yanji, the capital of Yanbian region. The function of this building is to exhibit, more specifically, to serve as a base of education of scientific and technological innovation for teenagers. The outline of the building shapes is a traditional Korean hat. The difficulties in the structural design are large-span floor and large cantilever in the third floor. This paper fully shows the complete project design cycle which is from the concept stage to the main structure closed stage, and focuses on the structure calculation and the model analysis of steel. This provides a valuable experience for structural calculation and design of similar projects in the future.The main contents are:1. Introduction:This chapter analyzes the domestic similar project and the project’s main structure types and characteristics, and systematically introduces the structural design softwares of this project and their features;2. Architectural design brief:This chapter is the brief introduction to the concept and tentative design results of architectural design of Yanbian exhibition center. And according to architectural design, three difficult problems in the structural design are brought up, namely, cantilever, overrun and structural transformation;3. Structural tentative design:This chapter determines the building classification, the main load value and the main structure material, carries on the tentative design on the foundation, upper structure and basement, and briings up the special practices and methods in the structural design at this stage;4. Structural calculation and construction drawing design:In this chapter, the model is analyzed by YJK software for the whole structure, with emphasis on independent foundation, retaining wall, and strip foundation calculations. Finally, this chapter points out the changes made to the original scheme in the construction drawing design stage;5. Model analysis of steel structure:In this chapter, model analysis is studied for steel structure of the project, including the central roof rack stress analysis and the finite element analysis of steel truss. The results show that the grid system and steel truss node is in safe condition under the most unfavorable load combinations;6. Summary:The technological problems in the structure of the project and solve the summary. |
