With the continuous development of science and technology and modern installation technology level unceasing enhancement, the use of large span space structure in the daily life is also gradually increasing. Suspendome structure is a kind of new composite structure, which has the good flexible and rigid. Its biggest advantage is the combination of reticulated shells and cable. Firstly, the introduction of tensioning structure improves the overall net shell in terms of stress and strength and enhances the overall stability of the structure at the same time. On the other hand, the problems of construction design and analysis and difficulties of practical operation are greatly reduced due to the upper part of the single-layer reticulated shell replacing cable dome structure. The suspendome structure has been practically applied in large venues and many large industrial buildings and it has a promising application prospect.This paper puts forward a reasonable plan of cable structure tensioning for the structure of Dalian city stadium engineering, which is the suspendome structure. The pre-stressed cable construction is the biggest characteristic and difficulty of this engineering. Before construction we should design deeply according to the structure characteristic with the professional institute and make preparations for the simulation calculation, etc. By the finite element software the simulation is calculated, which guarantees the safety of construction and use of structure.In addition, before the pre-stressed cable tensioning construction, the stiffness of suspendome structure is not so stable. In order to make the force conform to the requirements of the design and use of integral structure and enable the paragraphs ring to lasso to withstand the same tension, it need monitor the cable force and bulging value, simultaneously. By using structural health monitoring of Fiber Bragg Grating sensing system established the security of the whole process of tensioning mechanism. The structural health monitoring of cable force, stress, and the overall structure of the analysis of the displacement and physical quantities such as temperature are analyzed and controlled to reflect the safety status of the whole structure.Through this topic research, the data security and reference of domestic large venues of suspendome structure tensioning construction can be provided, which has a good prospect of research and application.
