Different from the traditional form of power supply, resonant coupling wireless power transfer technology enables efficient transmission of energy in the middle distance. It solves many of the problems that traditional power transmission approach exists, the energy transfer from the power to load without wire connection. It has high research value and broad market prospects. For the problem of energy transfer in resonant coupling wireless power transfer process, the power transmission performances are analyzed using mutual inductance theory from the circuit perspective. The energy transfer process also has been simulated through simulation software. The impact of system reactance, system frequency and the mutual inductance on the system output power and transmission efficiency have been done the emphasis analysis.A wireless power transfer experiment system has been designed. After the selection and design of various parts of test system, the experimental system is completed in final. The experimental system can successfully lighting LED load of 5W and it can charging the phone stably at a maximum transmission distance of 15cm.Finally, the system energy transfer process is analyzed by the experimental waveform and the effect of transmission distance and other factors on the transmission characteristics has been verified. After doing the direction and penetration experiment, it shows that the direction has less impact on energy transmission, the non-magnetic transmission media does not affect the system's energy transmission and the magnetic media's influence is serious.
