The at the beginning of the first introduced the background and significance of the research of electric vehicles, and introduces the development status of electric vehicles at home and abroad and from the fuel economy of electric vehicle driving, safety and comfort, three aspects analysis the advantages of electric vehicles than other fuel vehicles are. Motor is the core component of the electric vehicle, this paper from the drive motor is divided into four categories, DC brushless motor, permanent magnet synchronous motor, permanent magnet brushless DC motor and switched reluctance motor. This chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these four motor in the aspects of the working principle and performance.. It is concluded that the permanent magnet synchronous motor is the ideal choice for electric vehicles.. This paper first introduced the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) of three different control methods, constant voltage frequency ratio control, vector control, direct torque control, and from among the three comparison, we conclude that the PMSM using direct torque control DTC has a stability than the other two better.Subsequently from the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) structure and its characteristics, analyzes the superiority, and to establish mathematical model of the PMSM Based on space vector coordinates are deduced in the coordinate DTC principle. This chapter analysis the stator flux and the electromagnetic torque estimation and hysteresis control, through the principle of the studied control switch table, and of the PMSM direct torque control DTC of MATLAB/Simulink simulation, finally draw the conclusion that the DTC is the stability of other control methods.Second, analysis of the permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control DTC exists many shortcomings, and proposed based on SVM technique of SVPWM control method, namely space vector modulation DTC control strategy, simulation by Matlab/Simulink shows that SVPWM than PMSM DTC has a better stability.TI DSP TMS320F2812 chip control system design, from the hardware circuit design and software design, two aspects of the chip. DSP hardware includes the intelligent module of self protection characteristics, and designs the detection circuit, protection circuit, driving circuit and can bus communication etc. module, software system analysis and flow chart of the initialization, receiving flow chart etc.
