Nozzle flow detection is a necessary process for aircraft engine nozzle manufacturing, and the detection accuracy directly affects the discharge characteristics of nozzles. Multi-nozzle flow tester of the system applying S7-300 as the control core constitutes by two parts:the fuel parameter control and the flow parameters of each nozzle. The control of the fuel parameters is to simulate temperature and pressure that fuel entering the nozzle of actual state that engine running, to ensure that the state,that fuel entering nozzle when measuring the flow of nozzle, most approaches the real operation of the engine. The fuel temperature control adopts the heat exchanger for non-contact heating fuel, using the PID algorithm and the combination of feed-forward control method, to achieve temperature control accurately and fast. The nozzle pressure is adjusted by manual adjustment using relief valve. On the nozzle flow monitoring, the article adopts a method that collections of the various fuel nozzle and liquid level measurement to calculate each nozzle flow, using magnetostrictive liquid level sensor to measure the liquid level. The method is simple and accurate. The system is equipped with computer and touch screen in the control room and the test site. The simple clear interface can easily control the tester, and display and storage data.
