In recent years, due to the fault of the magnetic pole coil and the damping winding caused stator scrapping rotor often happen. Because there are some problems in the design of rotor magnetic pole structure. Causes when the unit movement, the pole coil is biased towards the outer side of the pole shoe from the pole center. The reliability of pumped storage generator unit affects the safe directly and stable operation of the power plant and the whole power system. The excitation system is the key part of the motor, and its reliability is more important. High speed turbine generator excitation and damping winding will produce huge centrifugal effect in runaway speed, under the combined action of electromagnetic force and centrifugal force, if the stress exceeds the strength requirements, stator scrapping rotor will happen. The loss caused by the sweeping accident is huge, therefore, it has aroused people's great attention, and it should be analyzed objectively and carefully.A speed for 250r/min salient pole synchronous motor as the research object,according to the basic theory of electromagnetism and structural statics, finite element method is used to calculate and study the rotor magnetic pole and the damping winding.Firstly, the two-dimensional transient magnetic field model of the generator rotor is built by using the finite element software, given boundary conditions, mesh generation and solution setting, simulation calculation of its rated operation, the calculation results are compared with the design values, verify the correctness of the model; on the basis of the 2D electromagnetic model, by building an external circuit,carries on the electromagnetic force simulation computation, analysis of internal magnetic field at the rated operating conditions of the generator and the runaway, theforce condition of the magnetic pole coil and the damping winding is obtained. Then the pole body and pole shoe structure are optimized, and carries on the simulation computation, the effects of several optimized structures on the magnetic field and the force of the exciting coil and the damping winding are compared, find the law of change, provide the basis and help for structural optimization.Secondly, using the 3D static model, set boundary conditions, mesh generation and solution setting. The calculation of rotor centrifugal force and runaway speed under rated speed, the stress distribution and deformation of the magnetic pole coil and the damping windings are solved. Optimization of rotor magnetic pole structure,the optimized structure is simulated and calculated, the effects of several optimized structures on the magnetic field and the force of the exciting coil and the damping winding are compared, find the law of change, provide the basis and help for structural optimization.Finally, the electromagnetic force and the centrifugal force are combined together to simulate the calculation, analysis of the effect of changing the structure of the magnetic pole coil and the damping winding. Using finite element model,extracting electromagnetic force data, enter the static three-dimensional model,integrated analysis of the problem. In order to achieve the optimal structure, aiming at reducing sweeping gun accident.
