Lithium ion batters have been widely researched and used by the people all over the world because of its long cycle life and high energy density merits,and it is necessary to pay more attention to the security of the lithium ion batteries;the wind power has huge economic efficiency and environmental protection characteristics and has been developed rapidly in the condition of reducing resources today.The volatility and intermittent features of wind power make the adverse impacts on the power system.So it is very important to make a study on the characteristics of the storage batteries and the energy storage devices with appropriate capacity so as to balance the output of wind power.To solve above problems,based on the analysis of the charging and discharging characteristics and thermal characteristics of the lithium ion batteries by the simulation and experimental methods in this dissertation,the best storage capacity of the small distributed wind power system has been obtained by the calculation using the particle swarm optimization algorithm.The main work includes as follows in detail:Firstly,the battery model is established based on the Matlab software,by which the characteristic curve can be obtained in the charging and discharging process of lithium ion batteries;the experiments of charging and discharging are carried out,and the experimental data have been collected and compared with the results of simulation.The results show that the parameters' changing of the lithium ion batteries in the process of charging and discharging can be reflected by this method,with relatively high precision.Secondly,the heating conditions of single lithium ion battery and battery packages under different charge-discharge rates,ambient temperature and cooling conditions have been intensively studied.The research results will be instructive for the design optimization of the single lithium ion batteries,the heat treatment of the battery packages and the research and development of the batteries' thermal management system.Finally,the wind power generation system is introduced and simulated,and the objective function for the capacity optimization and allocation is established,putting forward the relevant constraint conditions.Then,combined with the characteristics of the lithium ion batteries,the specific application method and solution steps are presented,and also the storage capacity of wind power system is calculated based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm by making the energy lack rate as the evaluation index of generation.The best storage capacity of the wind power generation system under full life cycle is obtained and the correctness and validity of the model are verified at the same time.The analytical results of this paper provide the reference for the research of the charging and discharging characteristics and heating problems of the lithium ion batteries,which also can be useful for the design and application of small distributed wind power storage systems.
