The study of the water curtain inhibition measure of research and the water curtain model is the emphasis and difficulty of the water curtain technology applied research. But now, Home and abroad the research on these two fields has lots of works to do. This topic is a water curtain forefront of technology applications subject. Papers on the basis of the analysis of micro and macro process of absorption of the water curtain, to study the impact conditions of the water curtain absorption efficiency. Then the absorption efficiency model have been established and verified. Comparative study on existing water curtain model, pointed out the defects of the existing model, and summarizes the factors to be considered when establishing water curtain model. Then through reasonable assumptions and parameter selection, a water curtain model applies to soluble dangerous gases have been established and verified.Creating a water curtain absorption efficiency model, this paper analyzes the determinants of droplets absorption process, the diffusion patterns of the gas upwind the water curtain and water curtain air entrainment process. The study results showed that the determinants of the absorption process is the gas concentration, the water curtain inhibition effect and the duration of absorption process. The diffusion patterns of the gas upwind the water curtain and the water curtain air entrainment process affects the absorption efficiency of the water curtain by changing gas concentration and droplet absorption duration. T Then the absorption efficiency model have been established and verified. Finally, this paper analyzed the influence of the water curtain set distance, droplet size, droplet pH value of water curtain to the water curtain absorption efficiency.This papers consider the influence of water curtain absorption to the gas diffusion and Introduce an water curtain absorption parameters. The calculation methods of the water curtain absorption parameters have been determined. In this paper the influence of the turbulence enhanced and wind speed weakened downwind the water curtain have been considered. A new regional division and the method for selecting atmospheric stability and wind speed values have been proposed. Finally, the predicted results of the water curtain model have been verified analyzed. The results show that the Fa2 calculation results of the new water curtain model up to 66.7%, and meet the requirements of the new model. MRB value and MRSE values were within an acceptable range.
