Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is a nonlinear, strong coupling, parameter-varied controlled object. Conventional PI control method is difficult to meet the increasing high requirement of PMSM control performance. The traditional speed sensor are affected by the installation environment, increased costs, and reduced system reliability. This paper designed a High order nonsingular terminal sliding mode observer based on the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA), using a phased-locked loop to obtain information of the rotor position and speed, increased the estimation accuracy of the rotor position and speed, improved the system reliability, and reduced the cost of speed control system. This paper designed a passive controller to improve the dynamic performance of the system using the interconnection and damping assignment energy-shaping method. And built a simulation model in Matlab/Simulink environment based on the block diagram of high order nonsingular terminal sliding mode observer IPMSM passive control. The result are analyzed and studied to verify the effectiveness of the design. This paper utilized TMS320DSPF2812 as the control chip, using the design of hardware circuits such as drive circuit and current-detection circuit, and C programs such as SVPWM function, PID function analyzed. This paper verified the reliability of PMSM vector control algorithm based on DSP.
