In current society, with the rapid development of Subgrade-pavement Construction, the application of geosynthetic materials also increasingly widespread. The application of geosynthetic not only improves the quality of engineering, but also decreases greatly the engineering price. The effect of geosynthetic in practice is achieved by its tensile strength bearing load. Therefore, the tensile properties is the priority to scale for its performance. First, the mechanism of geosynthetic materials had been studied in this paper. Then, the tensile tests control of different factors was conducted, the mechanical laws was obtained under the effects of different factors. Finally, by the use of finite element software ANSYS, based on the experimental data, numerical simulation analysised how to prevent the pavement reflection cracking.Experiments showed that the ralation between tensile strength and tensile modulus of geosynthetics with tensile rate, the width of geosynthetics and pre-tension. The mechanical properties have been obtained:tensile strength and tensile modulus of geosynthetics increases with the increasing of tensile rate, when the rate reaches a certain value, which increases slowly. At the same time concluded that the tensile rate had little effect on the rate of elongation. The width of geosynthetics has significantly affected on material strength, tensile modulus and lateral shrinkage. With the increases of width, the tensile strength and modulus increased, but the lateral shrinkage decreased. When the geosynthetics are not effected by pre-tension, tensile strength and modulus are significantly less than effected by pre-tension, but elongation is much larger. Obtained by the finite analysis, the geosynthetics can effectively reduce the bottom stress of asphalt layer, reduce deflection, which made contribution to prevention of reflective cracking of asphalt.Combined with experiment and numerical simulation, draw some basic mechanical properties of geosynthetic materials and which has good effect on the prevention of reflective cracking pavement. Have a certain significance and reference value for the future application of geosyntheti, and play a certain role on the future development of geosynthetics.
