In order to study the ride of underground side discharge crawler loader under each typical working conditions that are walking, lifting, turning and unloading and improve reliability and sports performance of the underground side discharge, the 4-DOF dynamic model is built by some appropriate simplification according to the theory of multi-body system dynamics and Simulink interactive simulation environment. And based on solidworks variational design and modeling technology, the whole solid model of side discharge crawler loader is built. Simplified side discharge crawler loader ADAMS whole model is obtained though solid model importing. The concept and determination of best damping ratio,at which value the side discharge crawler loader could have the best performance of ride, is proposed. By using Simulink and ADAMS, the change of damping ratio under different floor and different continuous walking speeds are analyzed and different damping ratio values effect on side discharge crawler loader ride were analyzed. And the ride of underground side discharge crawler loader under each typical working conditions are also analyzed, and the main factors of the impact of side discharge crawler loader ride are analyzed.Research shows that there exists best damping ratio value for underground side discharge crawler loader walking comfort under concrete floor and given walking speeds. And this value is approximately satisfied with walking speed as positive linear correlation and satisfied with floor level as a quadratic function of a positive correlation. During side discharge crawler loader walking or turning process, the vertical vibration amplitude of body and bucket is much larger than the pitch and roll vibration amplitude vibration amplitude. Compared with the moment of starting at full load, vertical vibration of the body at the moment of starting at no-load is more obvious. Pitching amplitude of body and bucket are greater than roll rate’s when the crawler is under load lifting and right place uninstalling working conditions. Vertical, pitch and roll vibration of body and bucket are obvious when the loader is under each typical working condition of loader booting moment because of object’s inertia. There is no body rollover phenomenon during specific normal unloading progress studied in this paper, and there is great possibility of body rollover during specific dangerous unloading progress studied in this paper.
