In order to solve the optimization problem of control scheme in brushless DC motors, it is analyzed on the basis of its mathematical model. Because its model is a complex nonlinear system, the improved genetic optimization of fuzzy PI control method is proposed. Though analyzing the traditional fuzzy control method and the its disadvantages, the membership function and fuzzy control rules are optimized by using the genetic algorithm at the same time, and the unreasonable factors of influencing control performance in the design process of genetic algorithm is improved. Finally, a new speed controller is designed by using improved genetic optimization of fuzzy PI control method.The system simulation is gonging on by a new proposed method. The comprehensive experimental platform based on DSP and GUI is designed. The improved genetic algorithm fuzzy PI control system of brushless DC motors is verified. The reasonable and effective of it is proved.The results show that:the improved genetic optimization of fuzzy PI controller has the faster response speed, robustness, anti-jamming capability and no overshoot. Dynamic and static performance of the motor is improved obviously. The new control method can effectively improve the control performance of brushless DC motors, and provides a new way for no theoretical research and practical application of the high performance control of brushless DC motor.
