Electrical equipments used in coal mine and other dangerous environments must meet explosion-proof requirements. Intrinsically safe is the best explosion-proof forms. Compared to proof power supply, intrinsic safe power supply has the advantages of small volume, light weight, simple manufacture, low cost, high security, so it has a broad application prospect in coal mine, petrochemical and other fields. This paper studies the intrinsic safety characteristics of intrinsic safety interleaved flyback converter, and has carried on the design, will be used in mine intrinsically safe DC switching power supply.Firstly, basing on studying the working principle and inductance current ripple of two-phase interleaved flyback converter, work modes and energy transfer process of the converter was divided. It pointed out that there were three kinds of work modes (CCM DCM-CCM and DCM) in the converter. Secondly, in different working modes, analyzed the relationship among the output voltage ripple, peak inductor current, load resistance, input voltage and the inductance, and deeply studied the characteristics of output intrinsically safe and internal intrinsically safety. Then the design process of main circuit and control circuit were given. Finally the simulation and experiment results showed that, compared with the single phase flyback converter, the two-phase interleaved flyback converter has a high output power, small output voltage ripple and inductor current ripple and better safety characteristics. At the same time, in the same output condition, the interleaved flyback converter can reduce the volume and costs. |
