This topic comes from Hei Long Jiang province natural science foundation project. The use of the clean energy is still the most concerned thing in nowadays society, now the haze weather has become increasingly serious, and as the PM2.5 becomes better understood by us, the vast number of people urgently hope to improve our living environment, and one important reason of the air pollution is excessive consumption of traditional energy sources during the industrialization advancement in our country. The safe, reliable and recyclable energy now should be the wind and solar power, and in our country, solar and wind energy is very rich. As the solar energy and the wind energy are very complementary, the combination of them to generate power is significantly greater than using the single energy to generate power.Now the conversion efficiency of the wind and solar hybrid system is still very low, using the technology to track the maximum power is an effective way to reduce the cost and promote the widespread application of the wind and solar hybrid system. This paper analyzed the principle and the method about tracking the maximum power of the wind and solar generating electricity system, according to the parameters measured by the wind and solar hybrid system which set up in the subject, we established the mathematical model of the output power of the solar panels and the wind generator. Contraposing the existing problems about oscillation and poor real time in the methods which are often used by power stations at present, this paper studied an effective method about tracking the maximum power of the wind and solar hybrid system in real time based on the improved genetic algorithm, it tracks fast and it is of high precision and hard real time, also the related data and the adaptability of the algorithm was analyzed. This paper also made a detailed introduction about the circuits of the wind and solar hybrid system which designed in the project.
