Over the past 30 years,after Reforming and Opening-up, some people get rich first. They want to change the traditional way of life and build a modern home environment through smart home.Government's support for new industries including Internet of Things Industry closely related with smart home, undoubtedly, gives a big push to the development of smart home. The improvement of Internet of Things technology paves the way for the popularization of smart home. By this way, smart home will be popular among common people.The system of smart home, based on kinds of technologies in a house, can easily control electrical appliances, lights, power and circumstance. The high-tech provides modern people with a simple and fashionable lifestyle. So close as smart home to our life, it remains a mystery to common people. To unveil the mystery of smart home, people must know its basic principle and its structure of software and hardware. In terms of practicality, usability, specialization, a single-chip microcomputer based smart home, an improved version of PC based smart home, is extensively applied.This thesis explores the stratified design of smart home operating system with four STC8 9C52 single-chip microcomputers as its core processor and one GM8125 as serial expansion module,which performs the detecting function of pyroelectric sensor, temperature and humi dity sensor, smoke alarm?gas alarm?ultraviolet sensor, photosensitive sensor, the soil tem perature and humidity sensor. Additionally, infrared transmitting and receiving subsystem, a single-chip microcomputer is able to learn and forward as remote control. In case of emerg ency, themain control system sends warning signal by SIEMENS MC55 Communication Mo del or liquid crystal display. Based on the theory of hierarchical control, a series of smart home communication agreements are proposed and the software of multi-sensor based smart home operating system is completed in this thesis. In the meanwhile, with the help of C+ +language, the thesis develops MFC based position machine software, performing the funct ion of receiving multi-sensor data of smart home in time.Compared with other designs of single gas and smoke alarm system, the proposed design that combines security-monitoring system, intelligent lighting controlling and intelligent electric controlling shows an apparent advantage with its strong expandability. Experimental results show that this system is fully equipped and is easy to operate. Several trials prove that this system works stably, laying a solid foundation for further transformation and application of smart home products.
