With the continuous development of urbanization process,the demand of middle and low rise residential structure system for low cost has been gradually increasing.The masonry building of mortise-tenon block studied in this Paper,,of witch the raw material is environmental protection reutilizing a large number of construction waste and other waste materials,is environmental protection and low cost.Moreover,withhold the design concept of mortise-tenon principle,it can improve the overall seismic performance of masonry buildings,But the masonry wall generally adopts aseismic structure with core columns,so the construction is complicated and the quality is difficult to control,which limits its popularization.This Paper presents a new post-tensioned mortise-tenon masonry(NPMTM)structure,which can further reduce the cost and simplify the construction.In order to verify the seismic performance of the new structure system,the quasi-static seismic tests on 6 full-scale masonry wall is investigated and analysed with using MSC.MARC software to do the calculation of the corresponding model and put forward the formula of shear bearing caPacity.The test was initiated to verify the seismic performance of NPMTM wall system under quasi-static reversed cyclic loading,including one grouted wall as a reference,four unbonded post-tensioned walls with different degree of prestressing and one unbonded post-tensioned wall without masonry mortar.Test results show that,for the NPMTM wall relative to wall with core columns,the number and distribution of crack is more uniform which means damage morphology was significantly improved.The cracking load and shear bearing cap acity increase with the growth of prestress sharply,of witch increase the magnitude is 36%~110% and 56%~135%.Hysteresis loop is plumper and energy dissi Pation performance improved by 22%~172%,when the displacement angle is 1/300.Prestress does not improve the initial lateral stiffness of the wall,but it can significantly improve the stiffness of the wall after cracking,The average increase of the post cracking stiffness is 6 times and the unloading stiffness increased by 35%~95%,whtch shows that the degradation of stiffness of the wall is delayed by applying prestress.Through test and finite element analysis,it proved that contrasted to the wall with core,the seismic performance of new post-tensioned mortise-tenon masonry structure columns is improved significantly,which is worthy of large-scale promotion.
