With the development of zhanjiang economical region,the number and the scale of civil engineering constructions is increasing,which leads to a rapid growth of the pile foundation which is one of the common styles of foundation forms in civil engineering.The clay in this area has complex features,for example high natural moisture content,void ratio,high compressibility and low permeability,etc,in the result of which the bearing properties of pile foundation in zhanjiang group structural clay is complicated.This article based on the status in experiments of single pile vertical compressive static load test in zhanjiang group structural clay,simulate the formula of single pile's vertical ultimate bearing capacity by MATLAB which would be applied to projects in zhanjiang area.In this paper,the main research work and conclusions are as follows:1.Based on the experimental results of the physical and mechanical properties of Zhanjiang group structural clay formation,the influence of the structure on the pile foundation engineering in the area is analyzed.2.The calculation methods of the existing single pile vertical ultimate bearing capacity are summarized and analyzed.3.Combined the result of zhanjiang arae's static load test,using MATLAB numerical analysis software's curve fitting toolbox cftool,simulating the mathematical formula of single pile's bearing capacity“Qu=aebsu+cedsu”?“Qu=ea-bsu+c”.4.The mathematical formula's three coefficients a,b,c,d above partly simulated with the pile endpoint soil in void ratio,cohesion,internal friction angle,the value of the length to work out the expressions of these coefficients combined with the existing mathematical formula,these form formula of single pile's which reflects the structural clay's deformation characteristics,strength characteristics and structure characteristics in Zhanjiang area.5.Combining with an instance of one project in zhanjiang area,using formula which is deduced to calculate single pile ultimate bearing capacity,and comparing the calculated results with the test result and the absolute relative error is less than 10% it can be used to estimate the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile in Zhanjiang group structural clay.
