Zhanjiang group of structured clay distributed in China Guangdong Zhanjiang area hasaroused widespread attention in academic and engineering circles to the engineeringcharacteristics of its unique, although pile foundations in Zhanjiang group of structuredclay has been applied successfully in the case, but its theoretical research lags far behindthe engineering practice, to develop the Zhanjiang group of structuredclay among research on bearing characteristics of pile foundation it hasimportant engineering significance, is the urgent demand of Engineering field.In this paper, based on nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS, has established thetwo-dimensional axisymmetric model, were simulated to obtain different pilelength, different diameter, different pile of soil properties of conditional place anorder, pile load settlement curve of pile axial force and axial strain curve alongthe depth, pile end resistance and pile top load curve, pile side friction along depth curvesof pile end resistance and pile top load curve and other curves, and the site conditions ofdifferent pile length under the single pile static load model test numericalsimulation, obtained the load settlement relationship curve and the loading sidefriction depth distribution curve.The analysis results show that: Zhanjiang group of structured clay in singlepile settlement,deformation of the pile body and pile section axial force variation andsingle pile diameter, pile length, pile of soil properties is closely linked, reasonablydetermine the single pile length,diameter has the reality instruction significance to the pilefoundation construction of Zhanjiang site. In addition, the numerical simulationof single pile settlement curve and lateral friction depth curve and the Zhanjiang field ofsingle pile model test curve tallies with that of Zhanjiang group, simulationof structural clay model test of single pile is feasible by using finite element analysissoftware ABAQUS, provides the calculation basis for further research and analysis.
