In recent years,the scale of power system is growing,the transmission range of large distribution network is gradually expanding,and the power loss of reactive power and active power will occur in the process of transmission.Therefore,it is important to compensate the reactive power of power system quickly and accurately,which is the key to maintain the stable operation of the power system.The key to solve this problem is to add reactive power compensation equipment in power distribution network.Distribution network static synchronous compensator(D-STATCOM)is a kind of advanced reactive power compensation equipment.It makes up for the shortcomings of the traditional compensation equipment,such as the dynamic characteristic difference and the compensation time.By adjusting the phase of the output voltage and the voltage of the power grid,it can effectively control the reactive power,and the dynamic compensation of reactive power.The second part of this paper,we analysis the principle of D-STATCOM and its structure.What’s more,we establish the model of D-STATCOM with math method,three topology structure will be introduced on its difference.In this paper the main circuit is a cascade multilevel structure,to improve the device,capacity,voltage level to eliminate the harmonic,and apply the MATLAB simulation on the device.Reactive current detection system rapidly and accurately is the precondition of D-STATCOM operation conditions,this paper proposes a modified based on the theory of instantaneous reactive power ip-iq reactive current detection algorithm,and through the simulation verify its performance.Linear ADRC is put forward in this paper,and put forward a new method for the LADRC parameter setting;In addition,the mathematical model of D-STATCOM based on the double closed loop control system;Finally using the lyapunov stability principle of linear state observer stability test;Through the establishment of the simulation model of power distribution system for STATCOM’s ability to maintain the system voltage for functional testing,not only can inhibit the system voltage drop,and can keep the dc side voltage stability,the simulation prove the feasibility of the device,it can effectively improve the quality of electric energy.
