The fossil fuel such as coal, oil, natural gas is gradually exhausted, and once energy consumption has seriously damaged the environment pollution and ecology, which has restricted the development and progress of modern society. Therefore, the exploration and use of renewable energy in the world is highly concerned and research. Solar energy is clean and non polluting energy, and its development and utilization in recent years has been rapid development.Photovoltaic power generation system can convert solar energy directly into electricity, and grid connected inverter can realize reliable gr id generation in power system. This paper analyzes the mathematical model of photovoltaic cells, working principle and the PV array under different light according to the output characteristics of strength and temperature, based on studied simulation modeling technology of photovoltaic cells. For single-stage and two-stage grid connected photovoltaic power generation system, in-depth study of the control strategy of grid connected PV inverter, through the control of output current to realize active power and reactive power decoupling control. In order to maximize the utilization of solar energy, the paper focuses on the analysis of the maximum power point tracking technology. From the theoretical analysis of the several common MPPT methods, including the constant voltage method, disturbance observation method and incremental conductance method, based on research demonstrates the adaptive perturbation and observation method in t he control precision and the tracking speed advantages. Based on the simulation model of photovoltaic power generation system built on Matlab simulation platform, the validity and correctness of the adaptive perturbation tracking met hod are verified in this paper.
