High energy ignition unit belongs to aeroengine ignition system, which transforms plane and ground power into high voltage. It applies to igniter plug initiating combustion. High energy ignition unit includes direct current high energy ignition unit and alternating current high energy ignition unit.So far, domestic direct current high energy ignition unit is mainly designed with trembler contacts and transistor. The lifespan and reliability of trembler contacts direct current high energy ignition unit are limited. Transistor direct current high energy ignition unit is great affected by power voltage and working temperature. For improving the working lifespan, reliability, voltagewave-resistant and temperature-resistant, this essay designed a new type direct current high energy ignition unit of integrated circuit according to the principle of pulse width modulation.This essay mainly discussed the component parts, working principle and design method of the new type direct current high energy ignitions unit of integrated circuit according to the principle of pulse width modulation.The main achievements in scientific research are described as follow:(1) Design a system of high lifespan, high reliability and insensibility to the surrounding temperature and power voltage, achieve a transformation of aeroengine direct current high energy ignition unit from analog circuit to digital circuit, in order to ensure normal start of aeroengine.(2) Design a new type integrated circuit automatic stable frequency circuit. The problem which is the unstable spark frequency of aeroengine ignition unit is solved.(3) Designed a new type electric discharge circuit. Reduce the injury to worker from the manufacture process and operation process of aeroengine ignition unit. And improve the lifespan and reliability of high energy ignition unit.
