With the rapid development of the social economy,human beings are facing increasingly serious energy shortage and environmental pollution problems,In response to the advocate of the concept of sustainable development proposed by china,green,environmentally friendly electric vehicles are gradually being favored by people.As a specific function and key technology of electric vehicle,regenerative braking plays an important role in improving energy efficiency and increasing the driving range of the vehicle.Therefore,the research of regenerative braking technology is great significant to the development of electric vehicles.This paper firstly takes the four-wheel motor drive electric vehicles as the research object,briefly introduces the research status of regenerative braking control strategy at home and abroad,and analyses the regenerative braking control strategy.Under the premise of ensuring security and stability of the brake,and recovering braking energy as much as possible,through the comprehensive analysis of the assigning theory of the braking force,the regenerative braking factors,ECE braking regulations,the motor characteristics and the battery status,A optimal energy recovery regenerative braking control strategy for wheel hub motor drive electric vehicle based on ECE regulations is established.To achieve off-line simulation of regenerative braking system for wheel motor,In Matlab / Simulink environment,on the basis of analyzing brake energy recovery system of electric vehicle,using the method of theoretical modeling,and implementing second development of Advisor software,the simulation models of regenerative braking system for four-wheel motor drive electric vehicle by this paper is established,mainly including: vehicle dynamics simulation model,wheel/axle model,motor/controller model,traction control model and braking force distribution model,etc.and embed in Advisor software.Then under ECE,UDDS and NEDC three typical cycle conditions the simulation and verification is carried out,the simulation results show that Under the premise of ensuring the braking stability and safety,regenerative braking control strategies developed in this paper for four wheel hub motor drive electric vehicle is feasible and effective,it provides a certain theoretical supportion for the further research on regenerative braking system of wheel hub motor.
