Highway is the main undertaker of transportation,and has made outstanding contribution to the national economic growth.However,the fog has been seriously affected the highway operation safety and traffic efficiency.Foggy weather are taking place with increasing frequency,and the influence scope are expansioning.It is difficult to prevent for time and space random nature of fog,fog-induced more car rear-end accident chain has long been commonplace.Based on Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation projects-Jen Chi highway traffic security key issues reserch and demostration application(contract number GZSGLJKYWT-2013-01),by analyzing the driving demand of the driver in the highway fog zone,to reserch highway fog zone intelligence guidance system and guide stratergy.The main work of this paper is as follows:First of all,paper analyzes the functional requirement of safe driving in fog zone from the driver,based on the demand analysis,carrying out the overall design of the highway fog zone intelligent guide system,determine the system components,and the visual ways as the system guidance.Secondly,based on the overall design to reserch the key technologies of subsystem.Take the real time visiblity as the system openning condition,and through the wireless communication technology to achieve the release of instructions and data exchange.Using infrared technology to detect vehicle passing information,with block intervel principle for anti-collision in railway system,by using red and yellow guide light of guidance system to construct a safe car-drving intervel,to insure traffic safety in fog zone.Thirdly,the duration of red LED lamp is the key parameter influencing the safety driving intervel.Based on traffic flow theory to construct an adaptive neural network model,take the traffic volume,visibility and road friction coefficient as the input value calculated the speed of the fog zone and the distance of the vehicle are obtained by the model.Finally get the key time parameters for highway fog zone intelligence guidance system.Finally,according to the road conditions of the project,the implementation scheme of the intelligent guidance system for the fog zone in the demonstration project is putforward.The effect evaluation of the system in the late period of the demonstration project suggests that the system plays a positive role in improving the traffic environment of the fog zone.The highway fog zone intelligent guidance system of fog zone is suitable for the highway of heavy fog.With automatic opening system,automatic detection of vehicles passing information,intelligent guide vehicle driving function,accurate guidance insures the traffic safety in the fog zone and improves the traffic efficiency of the expressway in the fog zone.It is a effective way for guarantee traffic safety in fog zone.
