| Along with our country’s economic construction and development,people’s living standard constantly improved and the public transportation and private cars ownership was in an explosive growth.The increasing of urban road,highway traffic volume,and the speed of the cars caused great pressure on the highway traffic.More and more traffic accidents appear due to the inadequate anti-sliding performance of the pavement,the accident’s seriousness also gradually increased.Highways are mainly composed of asphalt pavement in our country,so the anti-sliding performance of asphalt concrete pavement is particularly important in the comfortable and safe driving.As a kind of road asphalt mixture of high performance and economical type which was called Superpave was used more and more widely on the highway in our country.This paper was relied on Gansu province transportation construction projects that was called “the anti-sliding asphalt pavement of expressway tunnel research on key technology and application”,and it was based on a Superpave-13 anti-sliding gradation optimization project of Shitian expressway Jifengshan tunnel located in Chengxian in Gansu province.The top layer of pavement uses Supepave-13 gradation mixture.It carried on the experiment of raw materials testing first,next referred to the restricted zone and the scope of control points of the Supepave-13 design method,then determined the preliminary scope of the gradation trend.And then use the thought of the uniform design to get 30 different gradation,through indoor experiment test of the different Superpave-13 gradation mixture structure depth and the British Pendulum Number(BPN),we can set up the relationship between the key sieve pore pass rate and the anti-sliding performance.At last we can get a Supepave-13 anti-sliding gradation optimization method,finally confirmed a Supepave-13 gradation that not only satisfied anti-sliding performance,but also can ensure the good performance of pavement.Use the raw materials including aggregate and asphalt of the construction site in Shitian expressway to carry out experimental examination indoor.Then do the work of design and validation of target mixture ratio by the optimized gradation.Detected the indexs of volume and pavement performance including the voids in mineral aggregate,void ratio,voids of mineral aggregate that are filled with asphalt and water stability,hightemperature stability,low-temperature anti-cracking performance,endurance quality and so on.Get to the mixture ratio which can meet the performance requirements.Then used this ratio to direct the adjustment of production proportion in order to guide the production.Use the more mature mixing,paving and rolling process of Superpave-13 to finish the 900 meters experimental road located in Jifengshan tunnel.Carry on the on-site testing of the experimental road immediately once completed.The testings including anti-sliding performance,construction quality and road performance,etc.The depth of the structure,BPN,infiltration test and volume index of core sample test were used to compare with the performance of the ordinary production expressway.By the comparison between the two gradation,it concluded that the anti-sliding performance of optimized gradation obviously increase,and pavement performance also fulfilled the quality requirements.Finally,the gradation optimization method achieved the expected goals and experimental road meet the requirements of practice and qualities. |
