So far, in our country, the main type surface gradations of 13 is AC13 AK13 SMA13 SAC13 and so on, though, these gradations have not only merits, but also demerits. For examples, the road of AC is dense, low porosity and waterproof but flexible during high weather and its surface roughness is small;AK13 has good non-skid property and anti-rut character, but it has big porosity and permeability as well as easy aging; the cost of SMA13 is very expensive which is not be popularized suitably though the general capacity is anti-rut, non-skid property waterproof and hardly aging. From 1987 to 1993, America has spended a hundred million dollar on the knockout Strategic Highway Research Prograjn, which for short SHRP. The SHRP includes 21 fruits, one of which is Superpave gradations. It arose echo abroad.SO this paper rely on Zhu-Xin express highway and divides the area that is encircled by AC13 AK13 SMA13 SAC13 into five small areas so we have six gradations. Then the paper contrasts and analyses the performance of these grading asphalt concrete mixture. At last the text makes out the reasonable limitation of the course gradation, and it is named AK13L.At the same time, this paper will research the Superpave asphalt mixture based on Superpavel2.5 and Superpavel9. Consult the forbidden zone the reference point and the bound of Superpave gradations advanced by Lin Xiuxian Professor ,this paper designs five gradations. It analyzes the meaning of the forbidden zone the reference point and the rationality of Superpave gradations advanced by Lin Xiuxian Professor by a series of test.
