Automobile collision safety compulsory measure of vehicle safety test evaluation,also guarantees ride people life and property.With the continuous increase of China’s car ownership,car collision accidents are also increasing.Traffic safety accidents caused great damage to our economy,family and property security.According to the analysis of traffic accidents,China New Car Assessment Program(C.NCAP)introduced a 100% frontal crash test,40% offset crash tests,side impact test and the whip test to enforce new specification.Recently the insurance institute for highway safety(IIHS)according to the latest accident statistics,found that positive offset impact leads to a small region of mortality is higher,therefore proposed the tough Small.Overlap rate crash test rules.In China,the study of small overlap rate impact is relatively small,so this article according to the rules of small overlap rate of collision of a vehicle with the dummy model for finite element simulation.In this article,through Hyperwork modified and improved little overlap rate of collision vehicle finite element model;And use the Ls.Prepost software to locate in the appearance of driver’s fake people;Then by using the Hypermesh small offset rigid walls,seat belts and airbags and vehicle matching with fake people.Preprocessing,boundary conditions and finite element model of vehicle control and output control,finally set up a small overlap with standard dummy car collision rate model,after using ls.dyna finite element to solve the simulation soft.Through the small overlap rate for vehicle collision simulation results,Analysis in the process of collision vehicle movement state changes,the floor after the vehicle acceleration,the deflection of the dash panel,small overlap rate collision regulations structure point of invasion,the driver’s head and neck injury,chest injury and loss of the lower limbs.Through the body data and solving the dummy data collection and analysis,Find the early stage of the vehicle energy absorption is not enough,lead to late collision energy is too large,large amount of the invasion of the crew compartment and on the driver’s lower limbs of the chance is high,so the optimizing scheme of small overlap rate for vehicle collision model namely the bumper bar upset and change the material properties,inner and outer plate of the top beam and thicken and change the material properties,and the beam at the bottom of the threshold increasing excessive beam,the thickness of the dash panel and the changes of material properties and the outer edge of the front longeron more a part of the front longeron flank reinforcing plate structure optimization to improve the vehicle collision small overlap rate touch resistance.According to the optimization of the scheme of line of the vehicle part of the structure is optimized,By comparing the data before and after optimization,the vehicle acceleration,reduce the amount of deformation of the dash panel in the late collision overlap rate,small collision regulations on optimization of structural point of intrusion ratings have an excellent mentioned before to two,good by four to six,eliminates the two poor rating;Occupant safety rating before there are five outstanding up to six outstanding;Six pass all ascending to a good level,occupant safety evaluation indexes all achieve good level,prove the safety of the vehicle structure and occupant safety has the improvement,the effectiveness of the proposed optimization scheme.
