Application And Research Of Dispatching Automation Power Application Software In WeiHui Power Grid

Weihui power grid dispatching automation uses iES600 system by Shandong Jicheng Electronic Lab, with supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) and power application software (PAS).This system provides the operator with real-time data, information publishing and data service to the management and production personnel at all levels in the form of serial port through the web server. The PAS subsystem in iES-600 system gathers real-time measurement and state data collected by SCADA subsystem,and analysis the local electric power grid. It has the following functions:Network topology,State estimation,Dispatcher power flow, Static security analysis, Circuit current calculation, Reactive power voltage optimization and load forecasting etc.PAS advanced application software makes dispatchers calculate the power flow distribution and flow characteristics of local system in the simulative operation mode at any time.It can also assesses the safety level of the whole power system, identifies the weak links of the grid operation; This software realizes the minimization of power loss under the condition of meeting the security constraints and voltage quality through the regulation of reactive power, thereby greatly reducing the strength of the analysis of dispatchers.
