Research On The Produciton Of Waterfront Space Of Wuhan East Lake

With the continuously improving of China's urbanization level and people's pursuit of social justice, production of urban space gradually caused widespread concern. In the process of urban space utilization, ecological space get concern because of the high commercial value, environmental value and ornamental value and the use of waterfront space get more concern. At present, the prevalent model in urban waterfront space's utilization is real estate development and a wide range of lake view Room, river view room, sea view room and other types of residential real estate have become a slogan of real estate. However, it should to be noted that the real estate development model for urban waterfront development has damaged social justice, because the pressure of high prices will lead to the general public move away from the waterfront space and a few wealthy and privileged to enjoy the waterfront space which departed from the common property waterfront space. Therefore, exploration and research on the development and utilization of urban waterfront space are the objective requirements of pursuit of social justice which have great significance.After studying the researches at home and abroad, we can find that the current researches which involve the theory of production of space are relatively mature but the research level on the production of city's ecological space relatively slow. Related researches have focused on eco-space theory, ecological space system construction and the evolution of mechanisms and there are few researches on the production of urban waterfront space. Previous studies are quite macro, most of which explore from the theoretical level and few researches combined with case studies have been carried out from the view of micro, local, urban problems of theoretical.This paper has studied on the production process and mechanisms of the waterfront space of Wuhan East Lake on the theory basis of the theory of spatial production theory, ecological city theory and sustainable development theory. First of all, this paper points out the background, significance, study objectives and content of this study, gives out the research methods and technical route and finally points out the innovations and shortcomings of this study. Then this paper analyzes the related researches at home and abroad and gives a summary on the contents of these studies.And then the paper analyzes the related concepts of space production in detail and explains the relevant theories such as space production theory, the theory of sustainable development and eco-city theory. On a brief introduction of Wuhan East Lake, this paper analyzes the production process of its Waterfront space, gives a comment on the production process and pointed out the existing problems in the process. Finally, this paper brings up several strategies for the sustainable development of Wuhan East Lake from the views of government, enterprise and the public and gives out the research conclusions of this study.
