The cold-formed thin-walled steel structure is a new structural system,nearly twenty years of rapid development in the world and is widely used in residential construction,but is still in the initial stage of research and application in our country.The light steel structure is widely used in low rise residential,but the structure system of our country on the multilayer light steel housing is still lack of in-depth research,especially the seismic performance of structure.To accelerate our cold-formed steel structure housing industrialization base,application and research status at home and abroad,the cold-formed thin-walled steel structure,carry out a series of studies on cold-formed steel structure,seismic performance of structure and light steel structure focuses on cold-formed thin-walled light steel structure system.This paper mainly studies of contents,methods and conclusions are as follows:(1)This paper reviewed lots of literature about cold-formed steel structure,the advantages of development at domestic and foreign research situation,with the center of seismic cross braced steel frame the research situation in our country and promote the necessity of the system are researched in detail.(2)Composition of cold formed thin walled steel structures: roof system,floor system and composite wall were studied in detail,and the structure of system connection structure,structural stress analysis is studied,the purpose of the study is to make theoretical support for the promotion of light steel housing.(3)Through static method,response introduces construction seismic spectrum method and time history analysis method three analysis method principle and features: choose from the time history analysis method as a method of seismic research of light steel structure.(4)The principle of the finite element method,the basic idea,the solution procedure and the method of solving the problem were introduced in detail.The paper introduced the finite element theory and SAP2000 software,and the process of using SAP2000 finite element software modeling,load calculation and selection,solution.Then a pure cold-formed thin-walled light steel frame and the center of the cross braced frame structure model.Analysis of lateral force analysis and the dynamic characteristics of the structure of two kinds of layout scheme,and in the process of analysis of the three earthquake,earthquake in Bohan top displacement under earthquake layer displacement angle,topacceleration and base shear,through comparative analysis,obtained two kinds of layout scheme of the seismic performance of light steel structure the pros and cons.The finite element analysis through the frame structure of pure steel frame and the center of the cross,the results of analysis prove that the center cross braced frame structure has good seismic performance,which provides a reference for the aseismatic structure after cold-formed thin-walled steel residential design.
