With the accelerated pace of urbanization in China, a large number of people began to move to the city. It is difficult to meet the needs of people’s normal social life in the limited space of the city. To find the active space to the ground and underground has become an inevitable choice, and these are not separated from the foundation pit engineering. How to make the support structure economical, reasonable, safe and reliable, which has become an important driving force to promote the development of foundation pit engineering from the beginning. Coupling beam and retaining structure with double-row piles through to coordinate the distribution of internal forces on the front and back row pile, via the interaction between pile soil, to play the ir own soil resistance. Due to the advantage of simple construction, short construction period, less space, strong adaptability, good integrity, lateral shift stiffness, it is widely used in all kinds of foundation pit engineering and landslide treatment. The spatial characteristics of the structure of double row pile, not only shows its advantages but also determines the special problems. How to determine the influence of back row pile on post pile soil,and the interaction between pile and soil affects the supporting effect of the supporting structure to what extent as well as for a certain foundation pit engineering, how to select the proper depth of the retaining structure, row spacing, pile spacing, etc...Firstly, the existing analysis calculation theory is summarized and the advantages and disadvantages of each calculation theory is analyzed, and the double row piles structure main force characteristics is cleared. It is found that the calculation method of soil arch effect is more reasonable, which is the key point of this paper. Soil arch phenomenon exists widely in geotechnical engineering. After the soil is charged, the load is transferred to balance the external force by the shear strength of the soil and in this process, the soil arch formed. So its arch axis is the most reasonable.Respectively at the same time according to the specification is given in terms of double row pile supported support structure calculation model and considering soil arching effect in numerical calculation model by finite element software ABAQUS plane rod system finite element analysis model is established. To support each other, comparative analysis, more intuitive presentation of double row piles supporting structure under different load form the mechanical response. The difference and deficiency of the two calculation models is found, and some suggestions for improvement is put forward. In view of the characteristics of double row piles structure overall, systematic, in the standard calculation model based on the influencing factors for quantitative analysis. In particular, the influence of the change of the stiffness of a row of piles on the supporting structure is short of relevant research.Finally, taking into account the existing analysis and calculation theor y with the complex and difficult calculation process, is mostly based on the principle of force balance, and a new method based on the principle of energy conservation is put forward.
